God first, then plants and animals. We eat from God, which is our real nourishment source, and this helps us discern what to eat and what to avoid.
This is why gardening is so important; helps us connect with food and how it comes out of the Earth and then nourishes us. This links God and food for the mind while we eat and teaches us to honor our food and ask for blessings for it to grow and be fruitful. This entire process is important, at least as a part of each of our diets.
