About Lesson
Training for improvements in athletic ability come down to increased emphasis and specialized training in the following exercise categories:
Agility — changing directions quickly.
Animalistic Movements — organizes our muscles and nervous system for improvements in athletic ability/sport.
Plyometrics — bodyweight-resistance based exercise that emphasizes how quickly you can switch from eccentric (lengthening of a muscle) to concentric (shortening of a muscle) range of motion.
Cross-Training — train in all ways to improve overall athletic ability, energy systems fitness levels, and balance your muscles overall.  80% of the time should be specialized training for your sport, while 20% should be cross-training through other sports, activities, and types of workouts.
