Dig a hole, let it sit, and put humus back into the soil instead of filling garbage dumps and creating more wasteland and pollution. Use glass jars, glass storage containers, and re-useable (dishwasher safe) containers when choosing plastic. Reduce your garbage usage by up to 50-75% this way and recycle as much of the rest as possible; first at home, then through a company. If you can re-use or repurpose, that is best. Recycle as the last resort.
